The Unli-pasta and 10K challenge survivor!

11 Dec

Ok, this post supposed to be fresh last week. But because of my busy sched (for the Christmas Party goes to Hollywood-hehe nagpaliwanag pa talaga ako?), this is the only time that I can share with you guys the fun and challenging week I had – last week.

December 3, 2011 – The Unli-pasta challenge at Makati Palace Hotel.

I got the chance to buy a voucher for half the prize (250 per pax) for the Unli-Pasta last October (I think?).  Because I really love Italian food especially – pasta, I decided to buy it and take the challenge. And who will be the perfect one to accompany me? Well, of course my very close friend- Mush!

The Unli-pasta challenge

The buffet started at 2PM, just the right time for the hungry-pasta-lover like us.  The Makati Palace Hotel offered their Unli-pasta buffet with the Chef cooking your own pasta. You can instruct on what ingredients you want to put in your pasta (all meat or seafoods?), red or white sauce,  and different shapes of pasta.

at Makati Palace Hotel for the first time!

I can say, na-sulit naman namin ang voucher. I never thought that I can eat 2 1/2 plate of pasta in 3 hours. Wuhoo! Though I expected this meal to be extravagant, I can say that the taste was nice, but I expected too much that it will be tasty and full of flavors.

Unli-pasta at Makati Palace - what an experience!

And the rate? 7 out of 10. I really enjoyed the live cooking of your own pasta. I just love the concept!

December 4, 2011 – QCIM 10K challenge.

After we feast on pasta, we just have to burn them! We also got the chance to run for the 3rd Quezon City International Marathon the next day. It was sponsored by our Running Club in the company. I intended to run for 3K only, but because they only have 10K marathon, ano pang magagawa? Let’s do it!

The 10K challengers

Napasubo ata ako! It was really a challenge to finish the 10K.  Finishing the 5k was hard, what more if we needed to go back to finish the half more! My knees were shaking, my muscles were really beating hard! OMG! Pano ko matatapos toh??!?! I almost wanted to quit, but decided to stay. We just walk going back just to finish the race.

Run, go run!

And yes!!! We finished it! Kahit inabutan kami ng ambon at sinalubong na ng ulan! We finished the 10K run! See the time? Almost 2 hours… wuhoo! I’m just too proud for us, natapos namin!

Lenie for 10K run!

Ang saya lang! Almost 3 days of muscle pain with pain reliever not working on my body. I am proud! I can take the challenge of 10k again…IF… with 1 month running training. Wuhooo!!

Until next challenge!

Love,

Lenie

Octoberfest. Spell Happiness!

27 Nov

I know. I know November will almost end, but here I am still stock on my entry for October. I’ve been too busy with my extra curricular activities. Too tired to  get up, too tired to type on my keyboard, but I just wanna share this wonderful experience that I had on my Birthday month – October!

Ok. This will be a quick recap on what happened to my special month. =D My weeks were almost full with engagement to my friends and close cousins. And indeed that’s how I defined Happiness!

Here it goes..

October 15, 2011 (E.K. day with my barkada – Arlene, Pam and Chukoy, and Marie), too bad some of our berks were too busy that they can’t join us. Anyway, gora pa din kahit 5 lang kami! October is the anniversary month for Enchanted Kingdom, that’s why we were lucky to experienced the magic and bonggang bonggang celebration. They had fireworks competition every weekend, Kiddie pageant, and mini-show. So colorful indeed! And because it was their anniversary, we can’t help but experience also to fall in line for almost an hour for every rides (ang daming kids!!!). Anyway, what I enjoyed most were Rio Grande (even with blockbuster lines and ultimate wet experience), 4D cinema (love the excitement!), Flying Fiesta (though it made me dizzy), and Grand Carousel (best viewed at night!). Truly, EK brings back the child in me. And I promise, I will definitely try EK Extreme next time I will visit there!

E.K. brings back the child in me!

October 19, 2011 – My 24th Birthday! I am so blessed to live for 24 years and looking forward for more exciting experience, meet new people and visit new places. I can’t thank God enough for all the blessings and love He showed me. Hopefully, I will fulfill all my dreams and to travel more!!! I hope more readers will visit my blog and to finally find a new work! (?) Thank you.. Thank you to all my trusted friends! Love you all!

My 24th Birthday with my closest friends and SAP family

October 22, 2011 (Splash Island day with my beautiful cousins!) It was a treat from my dearest sister Hely and it was sweet! My first time at Splash Island and it was super fun. I love how the island was set up with Tiki images and Fiesta-ambiance.Together with my closest cousins -Nikki, Vangie, Chris, Jayson and of course Ate Hely, we tried all the slides and I felt so adventurous! My most favorite were Rio Montana and Magellan’s Drop! But the most thrilling were Big Bamboo Twisted Palms and King Pilipit (grabeeee!). That day, I felt that I was brave enough to face my fear. So happy talaga. Panalo!

Yikee!!

Spell F-U-N!

And with all that happy activities around, the thing that failed me was I don’t even have my own camera to capture those moments. Epic fail! I really must buy my own camera… or is there someone out there who will give me one? :D I will be more than happy! tee-hee!

Must find…must find a camera! Any suggestions what brand or model will I buy?

“till next adventure! (hope I had my own camera on my hand)

Love,

<3  Lenie

I got 50 views today!!!!!

10 Oct

I can really say that in spite of having a bad day today, there will always be a reason to smile before my day end. Although I feel the stress on my shoulder and thought that I will give up right now, another thing will come my way that makes me feel worth it even if others think I’m not. With the laughter of my friends and the joy of being with them, I know I can seize the day. I will try not to surrender and continue on the things I knew I can do. I will believe in myself, pray and smile… :D I will never give up. I will never surrender!

Just want to say… thank you for giving me one reason to smile… I got 50 views in one day! Yihhheee! I know it was simple, but for me, it was amazing! It’s not everyday that 50 people visits my blog, read, laughed and joined with me.

I got 50!

So thank you… from the bottom of my heart! I promise to keep you updated and maybe put a smile in your face whenever you visited me. I hope to inspire you a little with my random thoughts. Thank you so mucccchhh! I hope you will never get tired of reading.

Much love,

Lenie

Ooopss! I Laser-tagged you!

9 Oct

Yesterday was really amazing. I got the chance to bond again with my lovely cousins whom I miss much to the nth level! (oha!) Earlier this week, Ate Hely texted me if I was available on Saturday, I said yes – and our plan to play laser tag materialized! Together with, Sexy Nikki, Pretty Vangie, Chef-to-be Chris, ever gorgeous Jayson and my lovely sis Hely we went first to Yangchow Dimsum and Teahouse at Centris Walk (walking distance from my work). We have to energize before the battle of laser tag begin.

Meet the food critics

The first thing that I loved on the place was the ceiling. The light was nicely done with a touch of art. I just love the ambiance-so Asian like! And now, let’s see the food.

(clockwise): Cold Platter, Hakaw, Chicken feet, Dimsum, Bean curd roll, Melon shake, Fried spare ribs, Rice, Squash Soup

The 3-Yu’s (Nikki, Chris and Vangie) and Ate Hely were a fan of dimsum, that’s why they really have a standard with Chinese food. As for me, I also love Chinese Food. The first thing that they served was Jasmin tea. And Oh, I love it! I thought I was tasting sampaguita!

Hakaw (90% shrimp)  got my vote. I can say that this shrimp-filled dimsum was such a winner for me. I also learned the difference between siomai and sharksfin. Sharksfin has more shrimp while siomai was basically made from pork or beef. I ate their chicken feet, but I think I ate the better one from other Chinese resto (judging from the taste and how healthy the chicken feet is). Bean curd roll was ok. Fried spare ribs was a bit dry. I only liked the century egg and seaweeds in the cold platter. I don’t like the squid slices (I just don’t know what’s really the taste). I’m a little bit disapointed with their squash soup. I expected that it will be purely smooth blended squash, but their version was like corn soup with beaten egg. Also, my melon shake was “sayang”, I thought I’m just drinking candy in melon flavor (too artificial for me).

Over all Yangchow will be great if you just want to taste and fulfill your hunger in Chinese food. But if you really wanted an authentic Chinese cuisine, you can ask my cousin (because they knew it all!).

And now, for the Laser tag adventure…Let’s meet Argus!

Codename: Argus. Ready for the battle!

It was my first time to try Laser Tag. Ate Hely got the passes from Metrodeal. And thanks to her for such a nice experience. I felt like a kid again. It was really nice being a child even just for a day, especially when you got to play with over-active-competitive English speaking children! The game was not yet started but I am already dead because of those kids who were hyper active and spoke English fluently! (Don’t English me please!!!).

Ok, let’s meet the Green Team.

Go greeeeeennnn!!!! Let's go!

We wore all the green suits. And yes, the feeling was really amazing. The battle only lasted for 15 mins, bitin pero sobrang saya! It was nice being a kid!!! I laveeettt!! You’ve got to hold the gun with your two hands, and every hit with your opponent was a point to you. But, if ever someone shoot you, your suits got deactivated for 3 seconds and will vibrate. My mistake was I wore white shirt, it really shows in UV light. (Tip: Wear black!). Anyway, I think if ever I will got the 2nd chance, I will be way betterrr.. And Oh, I love the kids, they were competitive!! After the 15 mins battle, the kids were so active, and here’s an excerpt in their conversation.

Kid1: Hey, I  tried protecting you.

Kid2: (silent)

Kid1: And I shoot him. (kid eyes Chris) It’s him! It’s him!

….and we all laughed. :D

And here’s how well we played the laser tag.

We ranked 2nd. And Argus ranked 10th!

I was just thankful yesterday for being with my lovely cousins. So worth my time!

Team Green conquers Laser Tag!

And we end the day by eating Golden Spoon Yoghurt at Trinoma. (Thanks for the credit card privilege of Ate Hely!)

Golden Spoon yoghurt

I’m not really a regular eater of yoghurt, because it was a bit pricey. But I think, Golden spoon was good enough to satisfy your palette. We tried New York Cheesecake topped with mixed berries and nuts and Belgian Chocolate with Cholate syrup. It was ok but really pricey!

Chinese food + Laser tag + Yoghurt + wonderful people around you = Happiness!

Thank you so much ate Hely! I love you!

‘Till next time!

Love,

Lenie

Proud to be GLEEK!

1 Oct

It all started with an invitation, and the love for one show.  Last September 23, Big message me in my Facebook and definitely, I have one big answer… it’s a yes!

An invitation with one answer: YES!

Yesterday,  I had a date with my long time BFF. I went to SM Megamall straight from the office and Big from her jetlag from Legazpi. We watched Glee 3D the concert movie! And yes, the experience was amazing. This was one ultimate bonding experience with her. I missed her and I miss Glee! (the show already started its season 3 here and I haven’t watch it!)

We love Glee!!!

The movie started 5:10 PM. The movie house was kinda empty. I think we are only 6 inside (I spotted a mother-daughter bonding, a soloista boy and girl, and of course the Gleek tandem – kami yon!)  With popcorns on our hands, Glee started with their “ultimate song”, Don’t stop believing. I can’t explain the feeling of happiness, the show was a hit. It gives me butterfly on my stomach. It really came a long way, from their first episode. You can see that their concert was jampacked with different people. They have numerous fans and all they did was scream! I wished I was there in the concert. I think I will do the same – dance and sing my heart out.

Every one song, the movie showed how some of their fans evolved from watching Glee. And it was really an inspiration. It gave me smile on my face how a “small cheerleader” believe on herself and felt being a Queen inspite of her size. Someone who stand up inspite of his individuality and be proud. And my favorite, how a small kid really enjoyed and copied how Blaine sings and dance with Woblers. Wuhoo.. Galing!

As the movie was rolling, I can’t stop myself from singing and reminisce the songs that they’ve performed from the show’s episode. I love how Britney dance I’m a Slave 4 you (brought back my love for Britney Spears), how Rachelle and Mercedes can occupy the whole stage because of their voice, how Santana can make me dance and sing, how Blaine and the Woblers can make swing, how Sam and Quin make mes kilig, how I admired Kurt’s fashion…oh I can’t stop my feet from thumping.

And if you were asking me who is my favorite Glee character? It is Santana and Blaine..and Will!!

Britanny is so sexy and hot!

I love Blaine and the Woblers!

Santana versus Mercedes

Glee casts' on Born this way. Love their shirts!

(pictures credited from the internet)

It was such a great concert movie. Really good choice of songs. I just felt that it was “bitin”. I wish they had more.

I wish Finn do the “I can’t stop this feeling anymore..”.

I wish Rachele and Finn have duet.

I wish Sam, Quin and Tina have their solo too.

I wish Mike Chang have solo dance performance.

I wish Sue and Emma have apperance.

I wish Will Schuester has a number!!!!! waaahh..I want him bad!!!

Glee Concert in 3D is a must watch! I just thought that it could have been better if they also shows how the person behind each character grows in the episode and if they showcase some behind-the-scenes. And without 3D glasses, it was best on its own.

After the movie, we never left without posing at the poster and show how we are proud Gleeks!

Look at her shirt...certified GLEEK!

I am proud to be gleek!

And oh, I really want to own that Gleek blue jacket!!!! I wantttttt!!!!

Till next time!

Love,

Lenie

Boodlelicious – A day of awesomeness!

13 Sep

September 10, 2011

Last Saturday, I was able to watched “Wedding Tayo, Wedding Hindi” with Mush and Pawie at Trinoma. And really, it gave me a very good laugh! The story was so simple, but all their “banat” was so “patok”! I love it! I love it! I love it talaga!!!! Toni Gonzaga and Eugene Domingo were such a gem in the industry, they really made people laugh, effortless as if they weren’t acting at all. And also, a round of applause for Direk Jose Javier Reyes, such a flowerful mind! The movie is a recommended “stress-free medicine” for everyone! Tanggal ang sakit sa ulo, you have no reason to frown at all. :D

After our jaw hurt because of too much laughter, we went to Seafood Island to satisfy our great need for food. Good thing we went there, because it was so sulit! Sarap to the max!

Say hello to Mush and Pawie :D

We ordered, Fiesta Bicolandia (675) – Boodle fight edition – good for 3-4 persons :P .  A huge platter with Bagoong Rice, Laing, Bicol express, Clam in Buco juice, Ginataang Alimasag, Pinaputok na Tilapia, Barbecue and Shrimp.

Spell F-I-E-S-T-A!!!!

What I love best on what we have were Laing – not “makati”, smooth, and with soft “gabi”, one of the best!  I also love their Bicol express – the coconut sauce was so rich.  And the best part was their Clam in Buko juice, sweet and such a nice presentation, Panalo!

Boodle fighter, ready to fight!

The meal was good for 4 persons, you could imagine how full we were after it. Ang sarap kasi! Sulit ang boodle fight! Pawie surrendered in the middle of the fight, and syempre Mush and I finished it with flying colors. (hehehe)

After the crime. =P

‘Twas a day of awesomeness – indeed!

Love at first sip + Pasta the second time around

8 Sep

September 5, 2011

I was excited. I am amused. People were talking about you. And I read so much about you. They all said that you are the best, and that alone made me decide to finally meet you. After such time I’ve known you in the net (It’s me, being blog-reader addict). And last Monday, I asked my bff Mush to joined me. I told her what I discovered. And she happily came with me to seek the truth. What it was about you.

And I am shocked. I never knew that you were that popular. People were falling in line just to see you. People kept coming minute after minute. And I have to sit in a small place just to wait for you. Those people were very noisy. I can’t concentrate. They were happy and they were calmed, and still there I was sitting, just sitting, waiting to for you.

Minutes after Mush fall in line, here you were right in front of me. I was speechless.

Wintermelon Milk Tea. I'm in love!

My heart skip a beat. It was love at first sip! Hmm… and then Hmmm.. I can’t find a word how to describe you. It’s amazing taste. They were right…MoonLeaf Milk Tea was so great, I can’t stop sipping! :D I ordered Wintermelon Milk tea (75) and Mush got her Honey Milk Tea (70). Mine was a bit sweeter, with a hint of bitterness I can’t describe. And it was great! Sip after sip, I am addicted! I’m in love! I also got the taste of Honey Milk tea, it was less sweeter but definitely it was also bursting with flavor. Too bad, I don’t get the chance to taste their add-ons. It should have been greater if I added sago, pudding, pearl or nata (10 each) on my milk tea.

=D

My fascination on milk tea started when Coffee Prince hit the Philippines. Yes, it was a love story that started on a coffee shop. But because, I wanna feel good and sleep after I watched that series, I tried milk tea. Mine’s concoctions were lipton tea drop in a hot water + evaporated milk + muscovado = heaven! I am inlove! <3

I will definitely go back and try the other flavor of MoonLeaf Teashop. I heard their Caramel Milk tea, Hakka Milk Tea were also the best seller. Definitely, I will try it with add-ons!

And because, the place was overcrowded on Moonleaf Maginhawa branch, Mush and I decided to walk and find a place to sit and make kwento. After all, my schedule permitted me again of gala galore and Maginhawa street was like a foodtrip haven for us.

And, look what we found. Friuli Trattoria – it was Pasta the second time around.(We went here last 2010 when we celebrated the promotion of Mush) No second thoughts. We hopped in again and it was like the first time.

I can say that they got what I wanted on my Pasta. Real tomatoes, smokey, and full of Basil. Yiheee! The ambiance was also casual, it was like eating your gourmet pasta in a semi-resto. And the price was also worth it for the taste.

Italian pasta, just like I wanted!

Just look how Mush enjoyed our Sausage pasta. (140)

I was like a paparazzi to Mush =P

and, how she tried copying me, (taking a picture before eating).

Too good eat. Too awesome to picture!

It was love love love! Moonleaf Milk Tea + Friuli Pasta = love!

Feeling of Heaven! :D

Anyway, because I love pasta so much, here is a comparison of pasta that I recently tried. I tasted two different pasta in a row! Goldilocks’ Laing Pasta last Sunday and Friuli sausage pasta last monday. Which one I will choose?

Goldilocks' Laing Pasta vs. Friuli's Sausage Pasta

I was just curious of the Laing Pasta, the fact that I love laing so much, I got excited seeing this one. But Goldilocks’ way of serving it was not so appetizing. It could have been better if the laing is “durog” and cooked into perfection. Their laing was good, I have no comment on that. But I felt that their Laing pasta was just Spaghetti with a Laing toppings. Hehehe..  Mataas ang standards ko sa Laing! I can rate it 3.5/5 Masarap naman, but my mom didn’t like it.

I will definitely recommend Friuli Trattoria and Moonleaf teashop. Though I think it is not a secret anymore to those students at UP.

P.S.

At bakit wala akong picture dito? I forgot to take a picture of myself. *fail* :P

Hehe

Til next time.

Love,

Lenie

Army Navy: Felt like a navy and got our hands dirty.

29 Aug

Hi again my fellow readers!

Here I am again, enjoying my eagerness to write and share on what I’ve been doing. Today is holiday here in the Philippines, but I am here in the office reporting on duty. Anyway, I don’t want to spoil the “long-weekend holiday feeling” that’s why earlier last week, we decided to have a lunch out today. Our original plan was to experience and taste the new offering of KFC tower burger (our default resto). But, as I watched the TV commercial, I felt the “umay” feeling, that’s why I suggested  them to search and try a new burger in town. And, as per recommendation of my good friend – Renalynn, she suggested the Army Navy in Tomas Morato (just a walking distance from our office).

And so here we were, took a big bite, felt like a navy and got our hands dirty.

First, meet  my friends Ey and Andres. Uyy.. :)

and shy-type “kuno” Ben.

and of course.. Mush!

:D

Now with the burger…I ordered Double Burger (195). It’s my first time to ate a burger with black sesame seeds on the bun of my burger. The quarter pound beef was so juicy and just so good I don’t mind having my second and third bite continuously. Combined mustard + ketchup + Army Navy = awesomeness!

Yummy, tasty...oh so juicy Double Burger

Mush ordered Chicken Burito (145), in which you have to squeeze first the lemon, then the salsa, then sour cream. That’s how you can enjoy this soooo spicy heavy burito.

Chicken Burito

Mush and I share what we ordered in halves so that we can taste both different dishes. (Oha! Mautak kami! hehe).

Hihi.. stolen shots :P

Look how Ey enjoyed her burger.. hmmm.

YUM!

We also tried their Freedoom fries (65), which were thinly slice just-right seasoned potato with the combination of cheese dip (additional 20).

Ben, tried their own version of fried chicken with rice. (Sorry I don’t know the price).

We were also teasing each other to eat like a princess (just like in a commercial), but it was so hard taking little bites when the burger was so tasty in your hands. I dont’ mind if my face was full of mustard, as long as I’m happily enjoying my burger.

My own version of "eat like a princess"

And… after almost 30 minutes attacking those burgers.. Tada! It was gone. We were solved!

Burger hunting was never been so good. I’m glad we tried this new taste and experiment.

I can say, ooppss.. what I meant is, what my stomach says… Mission Accomplished!

I am satisfied.

Till the next burger hunting!

Love,

Lenie

Hacienda Darasa: Hidden sanctuary discovered – check!

28 Aug

Hi again. It’s me. :) I’m excited to blog again because of this fun experience worth sharing. Last August 25, I got a chance to experience vacation. Since, I have 3 days leave, might as well use it and got an early vacation since I have a duty on Monday and Tuesday (holiday in the Philippines).

It was worth it. It was early July that I got this coupon from Cash Cash Pinoy to experience Hacienda Darasa. Finally, last Thursday, this sanctuary was discovered by two best friends who were looking for a fun fun vacation and bonding time together. And here we were… Hacienda Darasa at Tanauan Batangas.

Hacienda Darasa

It was kinda gloomy and rainy when we checked in. And I was surprised that we were the only guest on that day. Yes, we have the whole hacienda for ourselves! wuhooo!!! And Ms. Janine, and the staff were also waiting for us. They also thought that we are mag-kapatid. Mush and I – magkamukha raw :)

Magkamukha nga ba? :P

As we unpacked our bags and took a rest after an hour, we finally got our swimwear on and took a dip on their pool..The hacienda was so huge so we asked for the direction of the pool. And they said – “hanapin nyo lang po yung palaka”. Ay! Asan na ang echoserang frog?!?!

Kiddie pool with Echoserang Frog.

Also, who would have thought that we can owned the olmpic sized pool on ourselves! – SARAP!

Olympic sized pool

The place was so perfect for bonding time, and also for team building. They have a huge place to make “taguan” because of many trees and plants all over (heheh) and a place where you can make kwento. Ang saya! Good thing I have my tripod, we can have our pictures taken even without the help of others :) Thanks tripod! :P

Now, the food? Our coupon included free lunch, breakfast and dinner. Good thing I brought instant coffee, so we can have coffee on our merienda and breakfast. Now,let’s get you hungry…

Here's our dinner. Chicken strip and grilled pork, with salad. YUM!

Breakfast: Garlic rice with chicken longanisa and daing, with saging.

Lunch: Chiken Bleau, grilled pork and coffee flavored salad.

Ooopss.. don’t forget that we also brought our own chicha meriendas. :D heheh.. We really loved to eat!

Donuts, Chippies, coffee.. Sarap to the max!

Oha! Oha! I loveeittt… Now, let’s see what happened to the pool.

Finally, my first time na nalibot ko ang buong pool! :D

Here is Mush happily floating... hehhe

My own share of floating experience. :P

Amazing vacation indeed. A must needed vacation for both of us. :D I will look forward for the next trip natin.. Abang abang ulit sa Coupons to discover new hidden spot all over the Philippines. Ang saya!

Thanks Mush, for being with me on that day. Thank you..

Love,

Lenie

P.S.

Have you seen starfish floating  in the pool? Peace Mushy ^_^v Your my best friend ever! Mwah!

I’m back from my hiatus! (April-July aftermath)

28 Aug

Hi Guys!
I know it’s been a lonnnnggg while. Maybe some of you may have forgotten that a blog like mine exist. But hey! I’m here again, ready to kick some ass and make you smile like you’ve never smiled before. (heheh).
Anyway, enough of this churva thing, I just wanted to share what happened to me in the last 5 months of being in may cobweb (sleeping). I’m sorry that I’ve been too lazy to upload and share what I’ve been doing. But because something worth sharing happened last time, I might as well share this before I make kwento on what really happen on “something worth sharing”.

Anyway, here are the quick recaps on what I have been doing lately. (in case you wanna know) :D

  • July 23, 2011 -  meet new friends and Showtime part 2

Showtime for the second time with Mush's bestest friends

Yes, I’ve been lucky enough to watch showtime for the second time. But this time with Mush’s best friends way back from her high school life. I think it was the better experience than the first time, because of much better ambiance (no audience coordinator distractor that keeps on bothering us), and I was able to dance and dance without hesitation. Also,Anne Curtis was present that day. And, Lola Techie was one of the hurados. Super LIKE!

Attack the baby back ribs!!! Sarap!

After being a madlang people for a day (again!), we were so hungry and needed an energy boosting food. We headed first at Tramway, but unfortunately, it was jampacked at 1:00 PM, that’s why, we stick to our original plan -RUB ribs and bbq. And Hey! It was worth it (buti na lang dito kami kumain!). I’ve finally tasted their super nice baby ribs (moist, yummy, with ultra tasty sauce). Plus, their side dishes was also great. The place was a bit small, but it was a nice meeting place for a get together like we had. I also love the fact that, it was not overcrowded and it was perfect for a small talk. And also, the wall have so many quotations that are a must-read. (they even have Beattles on their wall!) I was so happy that day-fun fun showtime, good food, and I finally met Mush best friends who are ultra nice to me that day.  They all have their kwentos, and I was thinking that my high school life was somewhat boring. I can imagined why Mush is so jolly until now. :D Thanks Pau and Chona! :D Sa uulitin.. Till next bonding time!

Bagoong club... yum!

It was Ey’s birthday, and time for foodtrip once again. That time, instead of our default lunch out (KFC) hehe… we decided to try something new, something gourmet and somewhat – “sosyal”. And here we were at Bagoong Club – bagoong themed resto at Quezon City. Why? because we just loveeeddd bagoong.  We ordered their famous Bagoong specialty, sinigang, Lechon sisig and of course for the dessert – leche flan! Wuhooo.. super bountiful lunch! Must try resto if you are bagoong-lover like me! :)

  • June 5, 2011 – Showtime for the first time.

This is your show, this is your time...

…Magpasikat na, it’s Showtime! Yey! This was my first time to watch showtime, and also to watch in a studio after working here at almost 2 years. I was lucky enough that my officemate (Mac) gave me her passes just in time before the birthday of my two lovely cousins – Nikki and Vangie. I wasn’t able to sleep because of too much excitement and because of Nescafe Iced that Chris prepared for us while watching RIO that night. I wanted this day to be remembered as a fun and positive day even though there was one person who ruined our happiness. I don’t want to talk about him, but definitely, if you’ll be watching showtime, watched out for that audience-coordinator with an eyeglass and a frown face. Hmp! Echoserang Frog! (ahahah.. bitter pa rin :P )

  • May 2011 – Summer and Holy week getaway at San Juan Batangas

A place called Batangas

The picture says it all. It was a memorable week indeed. Pure of happiness. Pure foods and tawanans. So much fun. I hope next holy week will be more exciting  like this.

  • April 15-16, 2011 – Napoli Pizzeria Ristorante and Summer outing with officemate.

Summer bonding with SAP team

Napoli pizzaaaa.. hmm... Sarap again!

It’s been 7 months that I’ve been in this team, and I must say…we really like to eat and make fun. I’m so glad that we have this bonding time. I just hope that our differences will make our team stronger…7 months na pala… and this month of August will be my renewal of contract. And yes, Kapamilya pa rin ako! Wuhooo..

And yeah, that’s some of the highlight of my life. You may find it boring, but it was so much fun for me!

Thank you for reading, and I hope….sipagin na ulit akong magblog lagi!

:)

Love,

Lenie
